Fueled by the success of their previous markets, the folks behind The Local People are back once more!
This time they have teamed up with M2 Academy Entrepreneur for The Entrepreneur Market. They have invited art, retail, food and beverage entrepreneurs to showcase their products. You can expect meticulously designed, beautiful handcrafted products, as well as movie screenings. Get educated on zine-making in Squelch Zines’ room, which is transformed into a classroom circa 2000. Guests get to learn how to make their own zines, the handmade equivalent of mass produced magazines that were widely used as a freedom of self-expression, and still are to this day.
In the other room filled with doob beanbags, watch films directed or produced by Singaporeans, after which musicians such as Amanda Tee and Xingfoo&Roy perform acoustic covers and original songs. At the same time, get involved with the launch of the Go For It campaign, which encourages young adults to pursue their dreams. Join the initiative on Instagram by documenting 100 days of following your passion then get it compiled into a zine.
