Our favourite art walkabout is back! This edition of OH! Open House takes over the beautiful Joo Chiat neighbourhood, with artists presenting works after completing residences in the homes of people who live there. Highlights include Hafiz Osman’s sculpture – a tall bicycle that’s twice the height of a normal one – and an installation at Fragrance Hotel, by Mark Thia and Mike Chang, which explores the theme of loneliness in motels.
Tours are on 14,15,21,22,28 and 29 March, 4-10pm and last tour leaves at 8pm. Public can purchase tickets to OH! joo Chiat art walk at $25 ($20 until 8 March) from its official website www.ohopenhouse.org at the door during event dates at $25.
