With its grand opening on the 22nd February, studio tours were conducted and a lion dance performance kickstart the event.
What does Triple 2 Studio have to offer? In terms of Internet connectivity, there is free world class fibre-optics Internet, as they understand how much guests value their access to the Internet. If you dislike having to make your own bed and cleaning up your room, you will be pleased to know that housekeeping services are offered daily. There is even a rooftop deck for those who want to breathe in some fresh air and look out into open space and you will find that Triple 2 Studio is located conveniently between both heritage and modern landscapes.
What do I mean by that? Cantonment Road has some history to it. When Bengal troops first arrived in Singapore, the military garrison set up camp at the foot of the Fort Canning Hill. Later, they shifted to a site along Pearl’s Hill, which was later known as Cantonment Road, after the troops’ cantonments. The Cantonese refer to the road as ba suo wei or pa so bue, meaning “end of Bukit Pasoh”. Located on Cantonment Road are a mix of heritage building types and Triple 2 Studio is one of these building types, converted into a serviced studio apartment. Amidst the heritage, right next door is the award-winning BTO Pinnacle @ Duxton, and a few more steps away are skyscrapers belonging to Singapore’s CBD.
