Uncage Your Creativity with SBTG and INNI Nails

Recently Tiger Beer collaborated with SBTG and INNI Nails as part of their Tiger Uncage personality series and hosted an intimate hands-on media workshop showcasing their craft. This provides a platform for local personalities who have lived life to their own drum beat, fuelled by their desire to succeed on their own terms.

Mark Ong and Sue-Anne Lim, the husband-and-wife duo of Sabotage, customise shoes and brought to life one of the most coveted sub-culture shoe brands that have amassed a unique following, including the likes of basketball star Kobe Bryant, musicians Mike Shinoda and Joe Hahn of Linkin Park and James Lavelle.

According to Mark, “I see sneaker designing as a personal journey where one has to be honest with oneself. Often the art translated onto the sneaker reflects an intimate detail or characteristic about the designer.”

To hallmark this occasion, SBTG designed a pair of sneakers as an embodiment of the Uncage proposition. Inspired by the evolution of the tiger from his previous Tiger Beer collaboration a decade ago, Mark’s signature Tiger camouflage which he has worked on mastering and refining over the years features as the main motif.

SBTG fans are invited to stay tuned to the Tiger Beer Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/TigerBeer.SG) for details on how they can get their hands on the one-of-a-kind Tiger Uncage sneaker by Mark Ong. Tiger is also giving 10 lucky individuals the chance to design their own sneakers at an exclusive workshop with SBTG where they will get to rub shoulders with the celebrated husband-and-wife duo Mark and Sue-Anne.

The workshop also featured works from Candice, the founding partner of INNI Nails. It is a new nail tech platform that brings together the best of fashion technology from Finland and Singapore. INNI Nails has become synonymous with self-expression in the world of customisable nail art and is  already a hit in the US, making its illustrious debut at the 2014 Emmy Award Celebrity Gifting Lounge.

Candice shared that “It was challenging to keep my spirits up when I started my entrepreneurial journey. I sometimes daydreamed about returning to my day job. However, ever since I embarked on this journey, I know there’s no turning back. Many have dreamed of being part of the Emmys let alone, the New York Fashion Week – with additional invitations coming in from the likes of Milan Fashion Week and the American Music Awards! I knew after that experience that all my efforts had been worth it. ”

INNI Nail designs can be viewed and purchased on http://www.inni.com. Joining the thousands of user-generated designs on her website are the Tiger Uncage nails Candice created in collaboration with Tiger Beer and are available for sale via the website for SGD12.90.
